about Waterford
Famous for its reputable stemware and crystal, Waterford offers its visitors a tour in the factory, where the process of cutting and blowing the crystal can be observed. Apart from the stem ware, Waterford has several industries, all of them owing to its lively port. In the past, the port has opened up the city to commerce, but also to masses of invaders. Nowadays, these masses tend to be tourists. The city's main attraction is the Reginald's Tower, which was erected by the Vikings and now accommodates the city civic museum. Outside the city, visitors can enjoy quaint fishing villages and the Comeragh Mountains
