Charming Wroclaw is the economic and cultural capital of Lower Silesia in the southwest of Poland. Wroclaw's cityscape is crossed by waterways. Due to its location on the Oder River and its tributaries, the city has been often compared to Venice. Beautiful bridges, a lot of green areas and Gothic architecture are the typical images of the city. Wroclaw's industry is concentrated in machine making, electronics and data processing. The city also prides itself on Poland's largest flourmill. Wroclaw is a good starting point for journeys into the Sudeten Mountains, where a number of spas and recreational area are to be enjoyed.
