Bilbao is situated on the Nerviўn River, close to the Biscay Bay. The town is a large seaport and a huge industrial centre. Although, the town is not as touristy as Valencia or Barcelona, Bilbao has a unique charm of its own. Particularly interesting is its Old Town. It houses a number of interesting sights among which, the Gothic Church of Santiago, the graceful Plaza Nueva and the beautiful Teatro Arriaga.
